So I was bored after class today and decided to throw together a intro type deal when i start doing screen casts of who knows what…. I haven’t messed with actually building stuff in flash for a long time as you will notice… Butttttt I decided to share it so far….. its really short but its not fancy either!!!

Don’t listen to the intro music to many times it gets killer!!

So I was doing some work on my computer the other day and I glanced over to my Ichat and thought it be cool if you could have the away message be your Itunes song. As Ichat users know that the option is available but for a “Not Away” message hahah….. so anyway did some internet searching and came across this applescript people are using…

tell application “iChat”
set the status to away
set the status message to “%Track – %Artist”
end tell

I was like sweet that rocks…. but I had to go about implementing it (which isn’t hard) but I am sure some are just thinking what to do with it?

I put it in an applescript and it works great for me… whenever I have Itunes running i just click it and hit run and bam…. ichat shows a Red away dot with your current itunes song…. Im sure there is more technical and fancy ways to go about it but this is easy enough!

So like i was saying this is easy enough and works for what i wanted it to do…. feel free to use it but just for my sake USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!….. Works great for me so should for you…… but I am just covering my ass…

I added a new section to the website nothing fancy just a little place for me to keep track of all the random things I come up with. I always forget to write them down or I lose what I wrote them on. Anyways, it’s a collection of quotes, lyric type, expressions, and so on. Its there for those who want it to be!! I tested it in most browsers so hopefully it works in yours!

Well I had some more free time lately so I’ve been really trying to mess around with more my graphic? skills i guess haha….. well i came up with this little number needed some fill text so just threw some purge stuff on there….. I see areas of improvement but i was happy with it so…. im glad to share….. i really need to start making some tutorials so people in the same boat as me can learn something from my experiments!! Well as always keep on keeping on….

So what now? Been busy been telling myself one day ill put more effort into my little getaway blog.. and i shall… but in the mean time between school and biking (i try to do 75 -100 miles a week) been busy…. but i needed to relax a bit and do a little diddle so i did… hope all is well!

You know schools winding down…. Summers warming up…. maybe a little more free time to relax a bit? Who knows I put this together over something old will I was looking over some database concepts……  I think it holds true for the most part that If you know who you are, you don’t need to explain yourself because the way you carry yourself (hobbies, lifestyle, etc..) and the things you do bring it to light. Then again like the saying goes don’t judge a book by its cover!!!!

It has been forever since i posted something….. but i have to say the new Star Trek movie is amazing….. I  am a big SCI FI guy….. and I can say without  a doubt it took the Star Trek franchise into this day in age Cinema and didn’t ruin it….. This is really gonna hype up and lead to a successfull run…. Star Trek fan or not its a great mix action/sci fi……..
